12th February 2024

Before you know it, that week off school in February will be just around the corner and you'll be scouting out places to go and things to do to keep those cries of "I'm bored" at bay. Here's some fun for the whole family during half term, so get the diaries out and pencil in some unforgettable days out! Last minute panicking? We've not heard that name in years...

Drift Limits

When you need to add a bit of excitement into that week off, take to Drift Limits, where the kiddos can enjoy a junior driving experience! Starting with the basics of driving, all the way to working up to 40mph speeds, this is certainly a day out to remember. Head out this half term and, trust us, they'll love you for this one.

Paradise Wildlife Park

From big cats to reptiles, Paradise Wildlife Park is packed with exciting animals to entertain you and the children this half term. Explore the wildlife park and venture through the incredible World of Dinosaurs that will take you back in time. With experiences and tours on offer, why not make it a trip for the little ones to remember?

Treasure Map Trails

Get out and about, exploring your local area wherever you may be in Hertfordshire this half term. With maps that cover the whole of the county, follow the trail to discover your favourite spots, those places you've always wanted to see, and hidden gems you've never even noticed. Pack some lunch, grab the camera, and enjoy the county with Treasure Map Trails

St Albans Museum

The end of the dark winter months is in sight, and to get us through with a bang is the Shine a Light art display at the St Albans Museum. Running until the end of February, head along with the little ones and enjoy the community spirit that fills the museum, bringing together locals and giving us some light during hibernation season!

Warner Bros. Studio Tour

A day out at the Warner Bros Studio Tour will most certainly leave a lasting impression on the whole family. Bring to life the books and films that we all know and love as you dive into the magical behind the scenes world of Harry Potter. Filled with activities and fun year-round, this is always on our list of where to take the kids this half term.

The Snow Centre

It might be frosty this winter, so why not layer up and head to the indoors Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead. Learn to ski or snowboard with a range of lessons for your children to enjoy in the holidays, whether they’re beginners or on the main slope your children will have the best time!

Tewinbury

Take the children away from the house and book a short and fun stay away at Tewinbury. Stay in the countryside and explore bringing the family together to enjoy this special place with special people. Not looking for a place to stay? Why not teach the children to cook this half term with Tewinbury cookery school with a professional chef.

The Natural History Museum Tring

The Natural History Museum is open this February Half Term for a fun-filled day out, so take the little ones along and experience all that it has to offer. With exhibitions showcasing wildlife from around the world, and events always on, keep an eye out on their website and book in a day at the museum!
