Ventura Wildlife Park
Ventura Wildlife Park is a unique and interactive wildlife park based just outside of Ware in Hertfordshire. Open all year round the park offers a wildlife adventure for all ages and abilities to enjoy. Have fun discovering over 45 different species of animal from around the world including; zebra, kangaroo, fossa, lemur, reindeer, lorikeets, and reptiles as well as the rare Cuban hutia and red rumped agouti that cannot be seen anywhere else in the UK. Plus new for 2018 meet the park’s amazing raccoon dogs.
Park admission includes unlimited access on the day of your visit, so you can enjoy a range of daily interactive animal feeds, talks, animal encounter shows and character meet and greets*. Remember each visit also helps to support a number of wildlife conservation and educational initiatives that the park is actively involved with both locally and overseas.
For those looking for something extra special you can go behind the scenes with one of the parks amazing animal experiences which include opportunities to 'Feed the Lemurs' and 'Meet the Wallabies'.
As an institutional member of the International Zoo Educators Association (IZEA) the park offers an extensive range of educational visits and welcomes groups of all sizes, ages and abilities. The park’s 'Explorers Lodge’ provides an unusual exploration themed education & events centre, creating the perfect space for educational visits, meetings and events.
Conveniently located just off the A10 and A414 within the grounds of the Van Hage Garden Centre.
