To get you into the Christmas spirit this year, your trusty Visit Herts team has put together a guide of the best Christmas markets that Hertfordshire has on offer. Plus, we've let you know the nearest train stations to each market, meaning you can save on the worries and the wonga this festive season as you hop on board the Christmas Express and get whisked away to your very own winter wonderland...Mulled wine for two please! 

Grainworks Winter Market

Crossover Blendery are hosting the Grainworks Winter Market coming Saturday 9th December and you’re invited! With free entry and free parking, simply round up the troops and head over to the magical Christmas wonderland with local food suppliers, mulled wine, live music, and of course delicious street food from Crossover Blendery… Pst, the Taproom & Street Food will be available until 8pm, so don’t rush off too soon!

Harpenden Christmas Carnival & Market

This one is definitely a date to pop in your diaries! Head along to experience festive fun like no other at Harpenden Christmas Carnival on the 26th November. Shop until you drop for your Christmas goodies from the farmers market, then take a stroll along the high street to enjoy the funfair, Santa's grotto, stilt walkers and much more! 

Tring Together Christmas Festival

On Saturday 25th November, the High Street will be filled with smells of roasted chestnuts, rows of twinkling lights, live music and Christmas stalls. Live entertainment for the adults and visits to Father Christmas for little ones will be sure to get everyone in the spirit – and late night shopping and festive market stalls means you might be able to get all that pesky Christmas shopping done at the same time!

Knebworth House Christmas Fair

 Bishop's Stortford Christmas Fayre

Hurry down to Bishop's Stortford Christmas Fayre on the 2nd December to see over 100 stalls, all selling local favourites from Bishop's Stortford’s Markets and Farmers & Crafts markets. Topped off with live music throughout the town centre, plenty of family entertainment and even a visit from Father Christmas. Hertford Christmas Gala
