Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter

Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter is a unique attraction offering visitors the ultimate opportunity to journey behind the scenes of Harry Potter and experience the magic that has gone into creating the most successful film series of all time. Visitors are invited to step on to authentic sets, discover the magic behind spellbinding special effects and explore the secrets of the Harry Potter film series.

Visitors are able to step into the original Great Hall, first built for Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, experience green screen technology and marvel at the breathtaking miniature scale model of Hogwarts castle. The attraction allows visitors the chance to see first hand the sheer scale and detail of the actual sets, costumes, animatronics, special effects and props that have been used in all eight of the Harry Potter films.

In addition to the Great Hall, some of the most iconic sets featured in the attraction include the Forbidden Forest, Dumbledore’s office, Diagon Alley, the Ministry of Magic, number four, Privet Drive, Gryffindor common room and the iconic Platform 9 ¾ that houses the original Hogwarts Express locomotive. Located at the Studios where all 8 films were produced, the Studio Tour showcases the incredible British talent, imagination and artistry that went into making the impossible a reality on screen. Visitors will relive the magic through the eyes of the film makers who brought the Harry Potter film series to life.

On 6th April 2019, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London will unveil a permanent addition allowing visitors to walk through the wizarding bank of Gringotts, the Lestrange vault, a gallery of goblins and so much more. Gringotts Wizarding Bank expansion will be the Studio Tour’s biggest addition to date and has been designed and built by many of the original crew members who worked on the hugely successful magical film series including Oscar® and BAFTA winning Production Designer Stuart Craig, Construction Manager Paul Hayes and Head Propmaker Pierre Bohanna.
