Absolutely Belting Comedy presents Bob Mills plus support

A new monthly comedy club for Stevenage! We’re delighted to launch Absolutely Belting Comedy at Toby Carvery, the Old Forge, bringing you a monthly night of brilliant live stand-up. Headlining opening night is the wonderfully funny Bob Mills. A familiar face from cult television favourite In Bed with Medinner and ITV’s Win, Lose or Draw, Bob has spent decades entertaining audiences on stage, television and radio in career spanning more than 30 years! In that time he has established himself as one of the most prolific stage acts in the country. His TV credits include Have I Got News For You, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, and They Think It’s All Over. Bob is a regular on BBC Five Live’s hugely popular ‘Fighting Talk‘, Radio 4’s ‘The News Quiz‘ , on Talksport radio, as well as ‘Off The Ball‘ a weekly Premier League show broadcast on ESPN. But as Bob says himself ..." Wireless....telly....writing...fillums.... they're things that I DO. But Stand-Up?... that's what I AM" Come and see a master of stand-up doing what he does best, right here in Stevenage! Supporting Bob at ABC is Trevor Bickles, London black cabbie turned comedian and 2024 British Comedian of the Year finalist. With proper jokes and an easy rapport with audiences, Trevor has earned himself bookings at some of the country’s biggest comedy clubs. Also joining the bill are two of our favourite rising stars: Julia Eckhoff & Max Gill. The night is hosted by local legend - Gary G Knightely. It promises to be a belter!
