Foodies Festival St Albans

29th May - 31st May 2026

Foodies Festival returns to St Albans, bringing its celebrated mix of food, drink and live entertainment to one of Hertfordshire’s most charming and historic settings. As the UK’s largest touring food and drink festival - now celebrating its 21st birthday - this much-loved event transforms the city into a vibrant hub of flavour, fun and festival energy. Known for its strong sense of community and thriving local food scene, St Albans provides the perfect backdrop for a weekend of culinary discovery. Expect an exciting line-up of MasterChef champions, Great British Bake Off finalists and exceptional local culinary talent, all taking to the stage across a packed programme of live cooking demonstrations and interactive masterclasses. With over 30 sessions across the Chefs Theatre and Cake & Bake Theatre, there’s inspiration at every turn. Festival highlights include the legendary Chilli Challenge taking place daily, the Fire Stage, the Kids Cookery School and a fun-filled fairground - ensuring there’s something for all ages. With a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere - and even dogs welcome - Foodies Festival is designed as a true day out for everyone. Beyond the theatres, visitors can explore a carefully curated selection of street food vendors and artisan producers, featuring both local favourites and exciting new discoveries. From comforting classics to bold global flavours, the festival showcases the very best of the UK’s diverse food scene. And when the food winds down, the music takes centre stage. With headline performances from Symphonic Ibiza, Boyzlife and Scouting For Girls, the festival comes alive with feel-good energy from day to night. At its heart, Foodies Festival St Albans is about bringing people together - celebrating great food, local talent and shared experiences. Whether you’re discovering new tastes or returning for your favourites, it’s a must-visit highlight of the summer calendar.
