North Herts PRIDE is a community‑led celebration of LGBTQ+ identity, inclusion and local creativity, taking place in the heart of Hitchin on Saturday 22 August.
Founded from grassroots beginnings, it has grown into a warm, welcoming day where local people, families, organisations and creatives come together to show support, share stories and celebrate Pride in North Hertfordshire.
The day features a walking parade through Hitchin, stalls from local makers and charities, community performances, and spaces for connection, support and visibility. North Herts PRIDE is built on kindness, collaboration and the belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, safe and celebrated.
Whether you’re joining the parade, running a stall, supporting a cause or simply coming along to enjoy the atmosphere, North Herts PRIDE is a day for everyone — a local Pride with a big heart.
