Storytime with Father Christmas

11th December - 24th December 2026
Join us at the Mill this Christmas for a visit from Santa! Santa and his elves are coming to see us for a magical storytime adventure! Listen to Father Christmas read a funny festive story, with his silly elf helping him out with all the action! The story is very interactive, and we’ll have all of the kids howling with laughter as we take them on the journey - plus we’ve included plenty of puns to keep the grown ups giggling. After the story, Father Christmas will stay for photos with families and there is a small take home for the children – an activity book themed around the story they’ve just heard. Part panto, part grotto, full family friendly fun! Aimed at kids aged 2-8 This enchanting Christmas event includes: An original, interactive Christmas story read by Father Christmas A chance for photos after storytime with Santa and his elf An activity book and crayons to take home There's no better place for a meeting with Santa than Mill Green Watermill, a beautiful 18th century restored mill on the River Lea. Come and join us in this historic setting, and make some festive memories! £10 per child (2-12) and £5 per grown-up. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult. Babes in arms go free with an adult ticket, but please purchase a child ticket if you would like them to receive an activity book.
