Broxbourne Old Mill and Meadows meander

11th August 2024
This month our walk leaders will be taking you on a circular river and woodland route, combining wildlife and heritage. The route heads south along the towpath past Silvermeade, crossing the navigation at Kings Weir before heading north through Rusheymead. Starting at the historic Broxbourne Old Mill then explore Water Vole habitat and catch a glimpse of darting dragonflies as well as taking in Kings Weir. Walk Info The length of this walk is 3.2 km (2 miles) and can take up to 2 hours The meeting point for this walk is Broxbourne Old Mill and Meadows Postcode: EN10 7AX What3words: ///phones.panel.flips Part of this walk is along unsurfaced footpaths and is not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies Much of this walk is next to water, there are several bridges and steps Our walks are predominately on flat gravel paths but there may be some uneven ground at times. We recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes or trainers Please refer to the weather forecast for the day of your walk and bring suitable clothing such as rain jacket or sun cream Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead. Please bring water and snacks to keep you energised Parking charges apply
