Changeling Theatre present Shakespeare's Henry V at Hatfield Park

14th August 2024
Henry V William Shakespeare "We few, we happy few, we band of brothers" A young superstar King has ascended the English throne. When his advisors tell him the French throne is rightfully his too, Henry falls for their persuasion. An insult from the Dauphin - heir to the French throne - is enough to trigger Henry, who gathers a mighty fleet and invades France. Changeling Theatre is a professional touring theatre company serving community audiences across South East England. Best known for our hugely successful open air tour every Summer, we have staged Shakespeare's most popular plays in locations ranging from castles to beaches to football stadiums. Our production will play on the idea of the game of war - a chess game. Our set will be a chessboard, our actors, pawns. It promises to be entertaining, challenging and with some Changeling humour thrown in for good measure. "The cast were exuberant and energetic, they were all at the top of their game" "Watching Shakespeare's Henry V performed by Changeling Theatre was the most intense experience" URLs: Tickets: https://go.evvnt.com/2494791-0?pid=10070 Exhibitor: https://go.evvnt.com/2494791-2?pid=10070 Exhibitor: https://go.evvnt.com/2494791-3?pid=10070 Facebook: https://go.evvnt.com/2494791-4?pid=10070 Instagram: https://go.evvnt.com/2494791-5?pid=10070 Twitter: https://go.evvnt.com/2494791-6?pid=10070 Date and Time: On Wed, 14 Aug 2024 19:00 - 21:30 Venue details: Hatfield House, Park and Gardens, Great North Road, Hatfield, England, AL9 5HX, United Kingdom Category: Arts | Performing Arts | Theatre Prices: General Admission: GBP 25.00, Under 18: GBP 15.00
