26th-27th May 2026 9:30am - 4:30pm Drop the kids off for a two-day journey of wild discovery! Our Adventure Camp is a child-only experience designed specifically for children aged 8 to 11. Led by our expert team, this immersive programme helps young adventurers build confidence, learn ancient skills, and make new friends.
What’s in Store:
- Archery Set in our dedicated woodland range, children will receive professional coaching on stance, draw, and aim. This isn’t just a game, it’s a discipline that builds core strength, hand-eye coordination, and immense focus.
- Friction Fire Lighting: Moving beyond matches, children will learn the ultimate survival skill.
- Campfire Cooking: Children will be making their own fires using strikers and natural woodland materials. They will learn how to safely manage a communal hearth to roast sausages. (Please inform our staff if your child has any specific dietary requirements).
- Drumming Workshops: Led by our lead drummers, this high-energy workshop uses traditional rhythms to foster a sense of belonging. It’s a powerful lesson in communication and teamwork, culminating in a thunderous tribal beat.
- Celtic & Pottery: Children will work with natural clay, learning ancient techniques to create their own pottery to take home as a lasting memento of their stay.
- Disc Golf & Outdoor Games: They will learn the basics of disc golf, going from fun, small-range games to using our long distance disc golf course.
These wide-game scenarios aid children in developing strategic thinking and physical agility in the fresh air.
- Team Building & Orienteering: Through a series of “Tribal Challenges,” children must work together to solve puzzles and navigate the camp. These sessions are specifically designed to build social confidence, leadership skills, and resilience.
- Immersive Storytelling: Gathered in the atmospheric setting of our reconstructed Roundhouse, children will be enthralled by the myths and legends of Ancient Britain. This session encourages imagination and a deeper connection to our natural history.
