Hertfordshire Garden Show

2nd May - 4th May 2026
Garden lovers can look forward to the return of the Hertfordshire Garden Show at Knebworth Park over the May Bank Holiday weekend, Saturday 2nd – Monday 4th May 2026. Set against the backdrop of Knebworth House, the popular annual event will bring together a wide range of exhibitors offering plants, garden furniture, water features, tools, sculptures and decorative accessories. The show provides plenty of inspiration for visitors looking to refresh their outdoor spaces for the spring and summer seasons. Tickets to the Hertfordshire Garden Show also include access to the wider attractions of Knebworth Gardens, the Adventure Playground, Fort Knebworth, and the Knebworth Dinosaur Trail, making it a great day out for families as well as gardening enthusiasts. Visitors can also take the opportunity to explore the historic Knebworth House, home to the Lytton family for over 500 years, for a small additional charge. During the event, the Gift Shop will offer a range of plants and garden-themed gifts, while the Garden Terrace Tea Room will be open serving homemade cakes, light lunches and hot drinks. Tickets for the Hertfordshire Garden Show start from £15.50 for adults, with family tickets (groups of four) from £58, and children under three go free. Tickets including entry to Knebworth House start from £21.50 for children and seniors and £22.50 for adults. Visitors are encouraged to book online in advance at www.knebworthhouse.com to take advantage of reduced rates, although full-price tickets will also be available at the entrance on the day. Entry to the event is free for Season Ticket holders. About Knebworth Gardens The gardens at Knebworth House date back to at least the 17th century, with much of the current layout developed during the Edwardian era by architect Edwin Lutyens. Today, the 28 acres of formal gardens feature colourful borders, a maze, walled vegetable garden and a herb garden based on a 1907 design by Gertrude Jekyll.
