The wait is over – we can finally, finally share the fantastic businesses that have made it through to final of the East of England Tourism Awards, which sets out to crown the very best tourism businesses from across Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk.

Three terrific Hertfordshire businesses have made it through to the final, each of them striving to offer the best welcome and service around – we couldn’t be prouder.

So take a read and learn about our three finalists!

Tewinbury Farm Hotel – Large Hotel finalist

From their five on-site restaurants, which range from Friday night street food to dinner with the best views around, to their beautiful bedrooms, it’s all taken care of when you arrive for a break at Tewinbury Farm Hotel. This beautiful countryside spot feels about as far away from the hustle and bustle as you can get, which is why it’s always one of our go tos for a relaxing staycation with all the luxuries you’d expect from a Hertfordshire getaway.

Each stay offers the chance to do something totally different, with accommodation including lake-side huts, peaceful woodland retreats, boutique hotel rooms, or even luxury lake lodges with their very own hot tub. Farm shops, coffee spots and a sunny terrace for afternoon tea make your stay here so easy, while the calendar of live music and festivals in the nearby Farm Yard offer that perfect blend of country living and vibrant events. There’s even an onsite cookery school making it the go-to for foodie stays.

Warner Bros Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter – Large Visitor Attraction

It’s so easy to see why this one made the list, right? Seriously, we’ve visited this top Hertfordshire attraction plenty of times and there’s ALWAYS something new to see, which is what makes it so special. It’s rare that you experience an attraction that kids big and small will find magical, but Warner Bros. Studio Tour London keeps everyone enchanted – see what we did there?

From the props and costumes, to breath-taking sets like Diagon Alley, Privet Drive and the Great Hall, this place truly transports you to the wizarding world, while behind-the-scenes tricks of the trade unveil the secrecy behind the magic of the films. While magnificent events like Hogwarts in the Snow and Hogwarts after Dark transfigure this incredible attraction at key points throughout the year, new peeks into the world of Harry Potter like Professor Sprout’s Greenhouse and Magical Mischief make us fall in love with the films all over again.

Henry Moore Studios and Gardens – Small Visitor Attraction

Trust us, you’ll be hard pushed to find a more picture-perfect gallery than Henry More Studios and Gardens in the heart of the beautiful village of Much Hadham. As the former home of celebrated sculptor Henry Moore and the very place where he did much of his work, this is the place to experience those world-famous sculptures, all set within 70 acres of peaceful countryside.

The sculpture gardens offer the chance to view Moore’s work within the landscape he was inspired by, while his studios offer an intriguing insight into how those very pieces were created and crafted. When here, the visitor centre is a must, with its on-site café offering the chance to enjoy spectacular view across the landscape that gave the artist so much inspiration, and all just 27 miles from London.
