Hertford Arts Hub is a new not-for-profit arts organisation, supported by Hertfordshire County Council, East Herts District Council and the Alan Wheatley Gallery to develop a new centre for visual art in Hertford. Plans to convert the Old Hertford Brewery into a high-quality public gallery are finally coming to fruition. The Hub will celebrate Hertfordshire’s creative heritage, support contemporary creative practice, learning and encourage cultural tourism to the county, a programme of exhibitions and learning opportunities will build on the heritage and legacy of Alan Davie an influential multi talented artists who lived for 50 years at Rush Green.
