June is packed at the Chiltern Open Air Museum. If you love local history with a fun twist, this is where it’s at, and it’s all set in a charming countryside backdrop of rescued historical buildings.

15 June – Hemley Hillbillies Live

Celebrate Father's Day with feel-good acoustic vibes, hearty country tunes, and a chilled-out picnic atmosphere. Bring a blanket, grab some local bites, and soak up the sunshine (fingers crossed) with dad-approved entertainment.

21–22 June – Blacksmith Weekend

28–29 June – Medieval Jousting

This one’s straight out of a fairytale with real horses, real armour, and real-life knights charging across the field. Expect dramatic duels, crowd-pleasing stunts, and plenty of medieval cheer. Kids can try their hand at dressing up and crafting their own mini shields.

Knebworth isn’t just about iconic summer concerts (although those are epic.) In June, this stately spot is buzzing with exciting events that are perfect for families, dog-lovers, and history buffs alike. DogFest – Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th June
