Two young people in the woods

Nestled in 85 acres of stunning Hertfordshire countryside, Hudnall Park is the perfect escape for young adventurers. Located just five miles from Hemel Hempstead, our outdoor activity centre offers a wonderful mix of beautiful parkland, private woodland and open meadows – the ideal setting for exciting activities and making new friends.

Free Half Term Activities for Young People with SEND

This February 2026 half term (16-18 Feb), we're delighted to welcome young people aged 13-19 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including those with social, emotional and mental health needs, to enjoy fantastic outdoor adventures – completely free of charge!

Thanks to funding from Hertfordshire County Council Short Breaks, we've created a programme of exciting activities in a safe, supportive environment where everyone can thrive. Young people are eligible to join us up until the year they turn 19, as long as they're in full-time education. And here's the best bit – you don't need to be registered for Short Breaks to take part!

What to Expect

Each activity session welcomes up to 12 young people, creating a friendly, intimate atmosphere where everyone gets plenty of support and encouragement. Feel free to book as many sessions as you like throughout the week!

Activities include: Archery, low ropes, woodland explorers, a challenge course and zip line

Planning to join us for both morning and afternoon adventures? Perfect! Young people are welcome to stay for lunch between sessions – just remember to bring along a packed lunch.
