Christmas Spectacular with James Mayhew

Join award-winning children’s author and illustrator James Mayhew and de Havilland Philharmonic Orchestra for a dazzling concert of much-loved Christmas music! • Coleridge-Taylor – Christmas Overture • Rimsky-Korsakov – Christmas Eve Suite • Prokofiev – Troika (Sleigh Ride) As the orchestra perform these festive favourites, Mayhew paints his illustrations live before your very eyes, all in perfect synchronicity with the music. The perfect start to the Christmas season! On the day, there will be opportunities to purchase children’s books by James Mayhew in the foyer and enter a charity raffle to win an original painting. James will also be signing books after each performance. When: Sunday 1 December, two 60-minute performances at 14:00 and 16:00 Where: The Weston Auditorium, University of Hertfordshire, de Havilland Campus Hatfield, Hertfordshire, AL10 9EU Booking: Tickets available online at: www.uharts.co.uk or by calling the Box Office: 01707 281127 (phone only, Mon-Fri, 10:00-12:00). Prices range from £7-15, and tickets are FREE for carers and UH Students.
