The annual charity Flamstead scarecrow festival has an added attraction this year as the 'terror hawk' which made international headlines is returning as a VIP. 'Bomber Harris' the escaped Harris's Hawk which attacked the heads of more than 50 villagers, drawing blood in many cases, before he was finally caught, is coming back to the village with the falconer who's adopted him. All the usual scarecrows, stalls, music, cakes and other refreshments. A great summer weekend's entertainment for the family. Raising money for local charities.
