The Hypocaust Building in Verulamium Park protects an almost perfectly preserved mosaic along with its underfloor heating system, the hypocaust.
This was just one room of a magnificent mansion, surely owned by one of the elite of Verulamium. Hear more about the house, the mosaic and how the heating system worked.
