The UK's ultimate live music tribute to George Harrison, EDMONTON, Saturday 18th January 2025

18th January 2025
Not to be missed! Here comes the perfect tribute to a Beatles legend! A musical icon who was part of arguably the biggest band of all time will be honoured and remembered with a special show taking place at the Millfield Theatre, Edmonton, on Saturday 18th January 2025. Alongside John Lennon, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, Harrison helped the band become the best-selling music act of all time with 600 million units shifted worldwide. After the Liverpudlian four-piece called time on Beatlemania, the songwriter enjoyed a successful solo career, releasing 12 studio albums, including Living In The Material World, Cloud Nine, Brainwashed, and the classic triple album All Things Must Pass. He also formed the Traveling Wilburys, a supergroup featuring Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison and Tom Petty. These talented musicians authentically recreate some of George Harrison’s best-known tracks, earning rave reviews. This hit-packed show includes well-loved songs such as My Sweet Lord, Here Comes The Sun, Something, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Got My Mind Set On You, All Things Must Pass, Handle With Care, Taxman, Give Me Love, What Is Life, If I Needed Someone, I Me Mine, and many more! This is a popular show, including interesting facts about George and his music, and is suitable for all ages. Tickets for the 18th January performance at the Millfield Theatre, which starts at 7:30pm, cost £25 and can be purchased by visiting www.millfieldtheatre.co.uk/whats-on/the-george-harrison-project/, www.thegeorgeharrisonproject.com, or calling 020 8807 6680. What others say: "A stunning tribute, the sound and voices are perfection. You’ve absolutely nailed it!" "The music was fab of course, but the way the whole show was put together highlighted just how much George Harrison contributed to the Beatles and to the world in his own right. The musicians in The George Harrison Project are hugely talented and by the end of the set they had everyone on their feet. Thanks guys. It was fantastic!" “What a toe tapping, hand clapping, jive inducing evening of great music! Well done The George Harrison Project!” "Had a fabulous evening, singing, dancing and enjoying the wonderful sounds. You have done George proud and look forward to seeing you all again, you are on our 'must see again' list. Thank you all for such a FAB night......" "My wife and I agreed, probably the best tribute show ever. We thought the vocalist "was" George..!! Could have listened til sun up. Thank you GHP for such a wonderful evening."
