The Watford Mencap Team are walking 13 miles

27th September 2025

The Watford Mencap Team are walking 13 miles on the 27th September.

Please sponsor us and raise money for children with disabilities in Hertfordshire. All money raised is eligible for match funding. Watford Mencap supports around 600 local people including 200 children as well as adults with learning disabilities and the families/carers each year. As an independent charity, we raise all our own funds to provide services such as registered care homes, supported living, day activities, children’s services, community training café, free advice and information. We are constantly raising funds to enhance both the experience and the facilities. One of our current projects is to build a soft play barn on our grounds. Every penny will help. Out aim is to help those we support to live their best lives.
