Discover our top picks on where to spend fireworks night this November in Hertfordshire. With so many wonderful events taking place across the county it can be hard to pick where to celebrate bonfire night but we are here to help, with our top suggestions on where to visit to make sure you have a night to remember.

Take a look at our list below and be ready with the ‘oohs’ and ‘ahhs’...

Stevenage Fireworks Spectacular

Grab your hats, scarves and maybe even a steaming cup of hot chocolate as Stevenage is about to light up the night sky in style on Wednesday 5 November! This bonfire night head into the heart of town for a free evening of ‘oohs’ ‘aahs’ and ‘wow did you see that one?’ moments as the fireworks paint the sky with beautiful colours.

It’s the perfect excuse to wrap up warm, catch up with friends and pretend you didn’t come just for the food. Timings and details will be revealed soon, so keep your eyes on the Stevenage Town Centre and Stevenage Borough Council websites.

St Albans Cathedral's fireworks

Clear your calendars for Saturday, 8 November, because St Albans is about to put on a show that’s brighter than the cathedral’s glass on a sunny day. On this crisp November evening, Verulamium Park will be transformed into a dazzling spectacle of colour and sound, and all for a great cause!

Gates open at 6 pm, giving you plenty of time to grab a hot drink, find the perfect viewing spot, and maybe attempt to guess what shape the next firework will be. The fireworks will burst into action at 7:30 pm, lighting up the skies while raising funds for The Hospice of St Francis and The Daylight Club.

Tickets go on sale in September, so keep your eyes peeled and your mittens ready!

Cassiobury Fireworks

Kick off November with a bang at Hertfordshire’s biggest free fireworks display in Cassiobury Park, Watford. On Saturday, 1 November, the fun starts at 6pm with Vibe 107.6FM bringing the tunes and live entertainment, before the sky erupts in colour at 7:30 pm.

Tuck into tasty treats from the food stalls, let the kids bounce, slide and spin at the funfair, and don’t forget to drop some change in the Watford Lions Club’s charity buckets. Just remember there’s no parking at Gade Avenue after 3 pm, so plan ahead and park in town before strolling over.

Mark your calendar, wrap up warm and get ready for an unforgettable night under the stars!

Tring Festival of Fire

Light up November at the Tring Festival of Fire, a fantastic charity event supporting local sports. On Saturday, 8 November, from 6 pm to 8:30 pm, join the fun at Tring Cricket Club and watch the sky bursts and the community comes together.

Bring the family, tickets cover two adults and up to three kids under 16, with under-fives going free. There’ll be plenty of warmth, smiles and maybe a few marshmallows to keep you cosy. Tickets go on sale and the end of August, so make sure to add the date to your diaries and get ready for a sparkling night you won’t forget!
