Cassiobury Park is the largest public open space in Watford and has a host of activities so you and the family can make the most of the outdoors. As well as a Paddling Pool Playground, there are swings, a zip wire, trampolines, a granite stone maze and so much more! Make a day of it, we’re sure the little ones will love it!

St Albans - Verulamium Park Splash Park

With a brilliant atmosphere your little ones will be running wild in this fantastic attraction. There is also a crazy golf course just a short walk from the Splash Park making it a fun day out for all the family.

Welwyn Hatfield

Time for your little ones to splash about in Splashland! They can enjoy a paddle and a splash as well as cooling off by running through one of their 67 water jets. Splashland is located at Stanborough Park North and is surrounded by a nautical-themed adventure playground with a large pirate ship, as well as a variety of play equipment suitable for children of all ages. There are plenty of splashing things to do here!

North Hertfordshire Splash Parks

North Hertfordshire is home to four splash parks that include paddling pools, water jets, pirate ships and more! Find your local splash park and jot it down on the list of things to do this summer. Your energetic little ones are in for a treat and so is the whole family!

Fairlands Valley Park

The green gem of Fairlands Valley Park is always on our summer visit list for its open space, lakes, woodland and play areas, so add to that the Aqua Park and we'd say you've got a winning formula. Your little water babies will love playing under the sprays, squirts, mists and sheets of water in this fab active play area that's made to keep youngsters safe, happy and cool in those heatwaves!

Ware Priory Lido

In the grounds of Ware Priory, this outdoor pool offers the perfect relaxed afternoon in the sunshine. Butterfly, crawl or even doggy paddle your way around the 30m main pool, or take little fish for their first dip in the small pool. Round off the day with a picnic, and we’d say you’ve got yourself a day out fit for the whole family. Better yet, with recently refurbished changing rooms, refreshments and even sun loungers, you’ll have everything you need right here.

Letchworth Outdoor Pool

In the summertime, when the weather is fine, you’ll find us at Letchworth Outdoor Pool. Set in the haven of Norton Common, this 50 metre heated (that is oh so important) pool is perfect for those baking summer days when only a dip will do. Little ones can chill in the toddler pool, while friends and couples can dry off and relax in the grassy sunbathing area. Grab a drink and a snack from the café and you’ve got the perfect afternoon.

Hitchin Outdoor Pool

Pick a 30 degree day and pay a visit to the beautiful Hitchin Outdoor Pool with its 50m heated pool, play area for the little ones and small pool, and you may just start believing you’ve travelled a little further than Hertfordshire! Unwind, play, swim laps, and grab yourself a cool drink at the Splash Café. Whether you’re planning to get your lengths in, or float through the afternoon, this is one spot to add to your summer hit-list.
